Meals for the Homeless: A Six-Year-Old Boy Subscribes to Good Deeds –

At just six years old, he has undertaken many volunteer activities, be it delivering food to vulnerable people or preparing Christmas cards for the citizens of Saint John's, Newfoundland and Labrador.

Jackson Price was interviewed by the local newspaper and television at the age of six and was even invited to give a speech to a university group.

Since September, the little boy has been handing out sandwiches, cold meals, hot chocolate and soup to people in need. The reason was simple, he wanted to help, he said in an interview with CTV News.

The idea came to him after his mother, Jennifer Smith, explained to him why tents were set up along a popular street in Saint John's.

“He was silent for a while and then shortly after said, 'Mom, can we make sandwiches to deliver to the homeless one day?'” she told the English-language media outlet.

After delivering meals to many homeless people thanks to his sister's online donations and the help of his parents, the boy decided to make Christmas cards for his community.

To help Jackson Price with his next cause, students at Memorial University offered him $87 when he gave his speech to them.
