Pregnant Hilary Duff gave her fans a health update on Sunday, sharing that the battle against COVID-19 has been “brutal this time.”

The 36-year-old singer, who is currently expecting her fourth child, shared on Thursday that she and her husband Matthew Koma, 36, both had the disease and had been wearing masks to protect their children.

And on Sunday, the Lizzie Maguire actress posted a somber selfie from her bed with the caption “Covid is brutal this time” and a thumbs-down emoji.

In the snap, she could be seen wearing a gray T-shirt and looking away from the camera while holding her head with one hand.

Duff also posted another photo of herself with glamorous makeup, saying that it was the kind of glamor she would do if she didn't have COVID and went to a Christmas party.

“I guess since I'm not at a fun holiday party this weekend, if I were to go, I'd wear makeup like this and not walk out sick, bored, out of my pumpkin. ..going crazy,” she wrote alongside the photo.

She also posted a mirror photo in a gray tank top and gray sweatpants and wrote, “And this is what I would wear.”

Duff then showed her fans how she is spending her time while recovering from the illness by sharing a snap of herself knitting.

The soon-to-be mother of four then shared a photo of her five-year-old daughter Mae with tiger face paint.

“Mae Bair, you are a legend,” she captioned the photo.

In addition to Mae, Hilary and husband Matthew also share two-year-old daughter Banks.

Hilary is also mother to son Luca (11), whom she shares with her ex-husband Mike Comrie (43).

On Thursday, the How I Met Your Father star revealed that she and Koma are both resting and wearing masks as they recover from the virus.

The clip showed the mom-to-be relaxing in a light gray sweatshirt.

She appeared makeup-free behind her mask as her husband of nearly four years sat next to her, working on a music project on his laptop.

“Someone’s going to be a DJ again,” said the proud woman as the composer tapped out beats.

The actress, her husband and daughters visited Disneyland early last week.

Hilary also announced last week that she is expecting her fourth child.

The pregnant star announced the good news with a hilarious Christmas card in which she posed with Matthew, her daughters and son Luca.

Showing off her stomach in sleeper pajamas, the star playfully shouted on the card with the caption: “So much for Silent Nights.”

The star married Koma in 2019 after first striking up a romance in 2016.

She was previously married to Comrie from 2010 to 2016.
