In an interview on host Rocío Higuera's podcast, she mentioned that a year ago she contacted Romeo's manager about her visit to the country.
During this conversation, Atienza offered the manager a sum of money, but she never accepted the offer.
“I contacted his manager, we offered him $800,000 and never got an answer, later another company offered $1,500,000 and they didn't accept either,” were part of his words.
The producer considered everything to do with the price offered a total loss and holding the concert a mistake.
