80 years Happy birthday Keith Richards

80 years: Happy birthday Keith Richards

The grandfathers of rock become its great-grandfathers. After Mick Jagger, it's Keith Richards' turn to turn 80.

The famous guitarist of the equally famous Rolling Stones is an octogenarian and his friends have not failed to highlight this on social networks.

His great friend Mick and Ronnie Wood wished him a happy birthday by posting photos of them at various times with Richards.

For his part, the man celebrating his birthday reminded us with a photo that the 40th anniversary of his marriage to Patti Hansen, with whom he had two children, was celebrated on December 18th.

Even as the years pile up, Keith Richards and the Stones aren't slowing down. In October they released their first album of original songs in 18 years, Hackney Diamonds. The new Stones were enthusiastically received by critics and reached number one in the charts in several countries.

If we trust Mick Jagger, it will not be without consequences. Another album is 75% finished, he told the New York Times in the fall.

At the same time, the Rolling Stones continue to delight audiences. From April to July 2024, they will hold 19 concerts in 16 North American cities.
