Russian judges who have been considering Alexei Navalny's complaints about his prison conditions have suspended proceedings until his whereabouts are clarified. This was stated by the opponent's spokeswoman Kira Yarmysh, citing the Meduza website, confirming that there had been no news from him for 13 days.
Today seven hearings were scheduled on the complaints filed by Navalny, but he didn't even appear via video conference, Yarmysh wrote on Twitter, but I'm still waiting for answers.
On December 11, Navalny's lawyers reported that staff at Penal Colony No. 6 in the Vladimir region, about 200 kilometers from Moscow, where he had been imprisoned since June 2022, said he was no longer on the list of detainees. On December 15, the Federal Penitentiary Service confirmed in a document read out during a court hearing that Navalny had been transferred to a detention center outside the Vladimir region, but did not specify the location.
