Sheynnis Palacios turned one month old today Miss Universe 2023 and was the first Nicaraguan and Central American to win the competition. The Miss Universe Organization shared the first moments of the coronation in an unreleased behind-the-scenes video on social media.
In the first pictures, the beauty queen appears with the other competitors celebrating the victory. Also in a second clip, Sheynnis PalaciosSheynnis Palacios appears with the flag of NicaraguaNicaragua.
There are also pictures in which the President of El Salvador appears Nayib Bukelewho congratulates Palacios.
The video features unpublished behind-the-scenes reactions, including the official photo session after his coronation.
“Oh dear God. This is real. It's real? “I can't believe it,” she says with an astonished look on her face as they do her hair and makeup.
“I can't believe it, I'm shaking,” he added after taking the photos.
They also shared moments between Miss Universe 2023 and Catriona Gray Miss Universe 2018, Andrea Meza Miss Universe 2020, Iris Mittenaere Miss Universe 2016 And Olivia Culpo Miss Universe 2012.
“Congratulations! Oh dear! Welcome to the sisterhood,” Gray said to Sheynnis as they hugged.
“Congratulations!” Meza expressed, to which Sheynnis replied, “Thank you so much!” I just don't believe it.”

In the video, he also documented the moment between Palacios and his family as he was on his way to the hotel.

Next, the queen tells the camera that her family is very happy and that she is the first Nicaraguan woman to win the Miss Universe crown.
When Sheynnis arrived at the hotel, he continued to be impressed by the victory.
“I'm still shaking. I can't believe it. Two hours ago it was just Nicaragua, now I'm Miss Universe and tomorrow I have a new job. Oh dear God. There are too many things to think about, but I am very happy and proud of my country, of my people, of myself. This is the beginning of a new era for my country, for me, for my family. “I am very happy,” he said.
