Welcome to Week 15 Classes!
This was a good week for quarterbacks trying to revive their careers. In Cleveland, the Browns beat the Bears 20-17 after Joe Flacco pulled off some magic out of nowhere in the fourth quarter. With the Browns trailing 17-7 in the fourth quarter, Flacco responded by throwing for 212 yards in the fourth quarter alone.
In case you're wondering how impressive that is, that's the highest rate of any Browns QB in a quarter since at least 1991. AND the highest rate of any player in the fourth quarter in any game this season.
Drew Lock capped a big week for quarterbacks who came out of nowhere by beating the Eagles on Monday night with a game-winning 29-yard TD pass to Jaxson Smith-Njigba with just 28 seconds left in the game. Like Flacco, Lock had a great fourth quarter. The Seahawks QB threw for more yards against the Eagles in the fourth quarter (112) than he did in the first three quarters COMBINED (96).
