WWE is preparing a big show for its special Day 1 edition of WWE RAW.
On January 1, 2024, WWE will present a live show to kick off the new year in San Diego, California, which is why the show is called Day 1. WWE will present a special program for the event, we already knew that Seth Rollins wanted to defend his heavyweight title against Drew McIntyre, but more matches were announced this week, including an unprecedented match.
In fact, Nia Jax and Becky Lynch will compete in a singles match for the first time on day one of RAW. This match will be about whether Nia Jax is capable of defeating Becky Lynch, in addition to breaking her face and creating The Man a few years ago.
Rhea Ripley is also in the women's division and will also defend her title against Ivy Nile. Ivy Nile wanted to challenge Ripley to show what she could do, and Ripley decided to include her championship in the story to show that she is not afraid of anyone.
And finally, Tegan Nox and Natalya will face Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark to see who is the next team with a shot at the Women's Tag Team Titles.
The show will air in its usual time slot and more games may be added. We must not forget that the WWE roster will be absent for the December 25, 2023 edition of RAW, a show that will be a best-of.
