BJP MP and actor Hema Malini on Tuesday commented on the suspension of 141 MPs of both the Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha in the last few days, saying they (the opposition MPs) asked too many questions and behaved strangely and hence been suspended. “You did something wrong and that’s why you were suspended. Everyone should follow the rules of Parliament. They failed to do so and were suspended. There's nothing wrong with that. That’s right,” the BJP MP said. Congress leaders mocked the actor and said a BJP MP has finally revealed the real reason behind the MP's suspension. “Finally, a BJP MP has revealed the reason behind the suspension of Congress and opposition MPs. BJP MP Hema Malini:-You are asking too many questions, that's why you are suspended,” tweeted Telangana Congress leader Sama Ram Mohan Reddy, sharing Hema Malini's video.

A total of 141 MPs – 95 from the Lok Sabha and 46 from the Rajya Sabha – have been suspended in the last few days after a security breach occurred in the Lok Sabha on December 13. Opposition MPs are demanding a statement from Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Parliament on the security breach incident.
This is the most turbulent session Parliament has ever seen, first because of the major security breach and then because of the unprecedented number of suspensions. Some MPs have been suspended for the remainder of this session, while others await the Privileges Committee's report on their conduct.
“For the first time in my almost 15-year career as a parliamentarian, I too entered the well of the House of Representatives holding a placard calling for a discussion on the recent security breach. I did this in solidarity with my @INCIndia colleagues who were there “Congressman Shashi Tharoor was wrongly suspended for demanding accountability from the government. I assume the suspension will follow. It is a badge of honor to be fenestrated through an unfair process,” Congress MP Shashi Tharoor tweeted on Tuesday before he was suspended.
A fresh row began on Tuesday when the suspended MPs protested at Parliament's Makar Dwar where Trinamool MP Kalyan Banerjee imitated Rajya Sabha Chairman and Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar and Rahul Gandhi was seen doing so. “Don’t assume my background as a farmer, don’t assume my background as a community member. The institution of the Chair has been ravaged, and that too by a political party that has gone to the point where an MP, a “Senior is videotaping the other member. For what?” said Dhankhar.
