In the series, Kidman, 56, plays Margaret, a wealthy American who lives a seemingly idyllic life in Hong Kong with her family – until an unimaginable tragedy occurs and her son goes missing.
Her life ends with two other American women also going through their own trials, including a young woman struggling to let go of the past.
The Amazon Prime series is based on the book “The Expatriates” by Janice YK Lee and the very first episode is scheduled to release on January 26, 2024.
