“It was great,” said Bradley, who appeared on the show to promote his new film “Maestro,” in which he co-wrote, directed and starred.

“I saw similar people that I went to high school with,” Bradley said, bursting into uncontrollable laughter.

“Oh, you're kidding,” Jimmy said, causing Bradley to laugh even harder.

Bradley and Jimmy both couldn't stop laughing as the story went off the rails.

“I was early and hung the sign out front that said Germantown Academy, and then people came and I greeted them and put my name tag up,” Bradley said. “When I was in high school I used to call myself Brad and now I call myself Bradley. I felt like it was some weird impostor, but that’s my real name, Bradley.”

Jimmy then showed a picture of Bradley at the reunion with a high school friend who was wearing his name tag, “Bradley.” Jimmy asked if anyone was freaked out that he was Bradley Cooper.

“No, it was great,” Bradley said. “It was just normal.” “I think time passed and it was just cool.”

Bradley said there was someone at a previous meeting who wasn't cool, but he didn't come to that meeting.

Bradley, wearing a black T-shirt and gray pants, put on a pair of Ray-Ban smart glasses that Jimmy handed to him as he left the restaurant. Bradley began dancing and the glasses recorded his position.

“That’s what I’m talking about,” Jimmy said. “We’ve been waiting for you to be on this show.”

Jimmy encouraged Bradley to put the glasses on whenever he was having fun, so Bradley put them back on.

“I’ll have her for the whole interview, bro,” Bradley said.

“Think about how Jack Nicholson had the courage to show up at the Oscars in those clothes,” Bradley said.

“You could be that guy,” Jimmy said.

“I could never be that guy,” Bradley said.

Bradley then told Jimmy that he loved being on the NBC talk show.

“We’ve made so many great memories here,” Bradley said.

“Thanks, buddy,” Jimmy said.

Jimmy congratulated him on his new film. Bradley said when he was directing that his schedule was crazy. He said he felt like he never went to bed, just took a four-hour nap.

“It was the most fun I’ve ever had,” Bradley said.

Jimmy then told him that he wanted to play an excerpt from the film, but instead played a joke excerpt in which a maestro is about to throw conductor's batons into the audience.

Bradley laughed and then Jimmy played the real clip from the movie.

Maestro will be available to stream on Netflix on Wednesday.
