The leader of North Korea, Kim Jong Unsaid he wouldn't hesitate to start one Nuclear attack if an enemy provoked him with nuclear bombs, state news agency KCNA reported on Thursday, April 21.
During a meeting with soldiers from the military's missile division, Kim congratulated the military on the recent exercise to launch an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) capable of reaching the United States when he made the remark.
“We will not hesitate”
The dictator said the test demonstrated the loyalty and power of the armed forces and was “a clear statement of the nature of the offensive counterattack and the evolution of the DPRK's nuclear strategy and doctrine.” [República Popular Democrática da Coreia, nome oficial da Coreia do Norte]“.

Diplomats from the United States, South Korea and Japan issued a joint statement on Wednesday condemning North Korea's recent missile launches and calling on Pyongyang to begin a “substantive dialogue without preconditions.” The United Nations Security Council also held a meeting on the latest ICBM test.
Increased tensions
Kim's sister Kim Yo Jong condemned the Security Council meeting, arguing the missile test was merely an exercise of the country's right to selfdefense.
“The United Nations Security Council should attach great responsibility to the irresponsible behavior and actions of the United States and South Korea, which have increased tensions on the Korean Peninsula throughout the year through all kinds of military provocations,” he said.
On Wednesday, the United States, South Korea and Japan conducted a joint air exercise near the Korean Peninsula with an American strategic bomber, the latest military asset Washington has deployed to the region as part of its partnership with Seoul to boost its defense capabilities.
