Julie Bishop has announced her latest career project after leaving politics in 2019.
The former German foreign minister, 67, has founded her own “boutique consulting firm,” offering her personal services in everything from business development to social media influence.
Presenting herself as a brand ambassador, her newly launched website says: “Julie has been dubbed Australia's Fashion Minister – she is known for her love of fitness and fashion and works with a select few brands that she knows and loves.”'
In the business area, according to Bishop, she “focuses on providing strategic advice to boards of directors and management on complex international and domestic business challenges.”
She currently offers public speaking and advocacy, “tailored analysis of geopolitical and geostrategic developments,” business development, and more.

In fact, since leaving politics, Bishop has become a bona fide style influencer.
In addition to being active in business and politics, the 67-year-old has also been spotted at events for Australian Fashion Week and Louis Vuitton.
The well-known socialite recently revealed that a trip to New York for the Met Gala was her number one “ultimate travel list.”
“Surely I'll be able to do it in a year,” she told Marie Claire.

Bishop also said that her style inspiration was Amal Clooney, the wife of Hollywood superstar George Clooney.
“I love what she wears and whenever she wears it. “She's fabulous,” she gushed about the glamorous lawyer.
Back in April, she appeared to be enjoying her new career as a social media influencer by promoting her stay at the five-star Gansevoort Meatpacking Hotel in New York City, which cost up to $2,814 per night.
