Charlie Sheen's neighbor was arrested after she allegedly tried to choke him when an argument broke out between the two at his Los Angeles home on Wednesday, Page Six has confirmed.
The Los Angeles Sheriff's Department confirmed Friday that the “Two and a Half Men” alum, 58, was allegedly attacked by a 47-year-old woman who forced her way into his home.
TMZ was the first to report the altercation.
Law enforcement sources told the outlet that after hearing a knock, Sheen opened the door to the woman — his neighbor — ripped his shirt and attempted to choke him.
After the ordeal, the woman, who was not named, returned to her own home, where she was later arrested and charged with assault with a deadly weapon and burglary.
It is unclear what led to the alleged altercation.
Sheen then dialed 911 before LASD officers and paramedics arrived at the scene.
However, Sheen was not taken to the hospital.

It is not the first time that the actor has had a problem with the woman, insiders added.
Sheen reportedly told police that the same woman had recently sprayed a sticky liquid on his car and dumped trash outside his door the day before the attack.
Page Six has reached out to Sheen's representatives for comment.

The ordeal comes just days after Sheen revealed he is nearly six years sober after quitting alcohol to focus on raising his children.
“Next month I’ll be six years sober,” the “Two and a Half Men” alum told People earlier this month. “I have a very consistent lifestyle now. It’s all about the single dad thing and raising my 14-year-old twins, Max and Bob.”

The actor's years-long battle with addiction has been well documented. He admitted that he loved “drinking in the morning” and often “put scotch in his coffee.”
Sheen now wakes up “around 4:30 or 5 a.m.” to “catch the news early, exercise, answer emails” and help his children prepare for the day.
“Then I wake up the children and help them with their morning routine – if you can even call that a routine,” joked the 58-year-old.
Sheen, who shares the twins with ex-wife Brooke Mueller, is also father to daughters Sami, 19, and Lola, 18, with ex-wife Denise Richards, and daughter Cassandra, 38, with high school sweetheart Paula Profit.
