Here's what happened in our simulation:

First quarter

The rain that fell in Arrowhead didn't faze the Las Vegas Raiders on their first drive. A 10-play drive in which the Raiders ran Josh Jacobs seven times resulted in a 3-yard touchdown.

The Raiders wanted to use up as much time as possible in the quarter after the Kansas City Chiefs were forced to punt on their first drive. On the ninth play of the following drive, Aidan O'Connell was intercepted by L'Jarius Sneed.

End of the first quarter: Raiders 7, Chiefs 0

Second quarter

After the Chiefs defense forced turnovers in the final quarter, Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce ensured a point was scored. Kelce caught two passes for 43 yards, with the drive ending with an 11-yard catch by Rashee Rice for a touchdown.

The Chiefs' defense saved the offense again, forcing a three-and-out after Mahomes was stripped and sacked by Maxx Crosby.

Kelce continued his great quarter by surpassing the 100-yard receiving mark and helping move the ball down the field for a score. This time, running back Isiah Pacheco scored on a 1-yard touchdown run, giving the Chiefs their first lead of the game.

End of second quarter: Chiefs 17, Raiders 7

Third quarter

The Chiefs took the lead in the first half and marched downfield, eliminating the score with seven minutes remaining. Jerick McKinnon went into the end zone two yards from goal for the score.

Mahomes' throw of the year came with five minutes left in the quarter. The quarterback threw a laser off his back foot to Richie James 42 yards through the air in the end zone. This would put the Chiefs up four possession points.

End of third quarter: Chiefs 31, Raiders 7

Fourth quarter

The Raiders had a costly turnover inside the red zone as O'Connell attempted to gain the first down. Three Chiefs defenders were there to force the ball out.

The Kansas City offense only stayed on the field for two plays as an 87-yard catch-and-run touchdown by Justin Watson put the final nail in the coffin for the Raiders.

The only bright spot of the game for the Raiders since their first drive were two fourth-down conversions against Hunter Renfrow, one of which was a touchdown.

Final score: Chiefs 45, Raiders 14
