Charlie Sheen was allegedly attacked by a 47-year-old woman in his Malibu home on Wednesday.
The Los Angeles Sheriff's Department confirmed to The Post that Electra Schrock, who is reportedly the “Two and a Half Men” star's neighbor, was charged with assault with a deadly weapon, force likely to result in serious bodily injury, and was arrested for house burglary.
“Upon contacting the involved parties, officers identified Charlie Sheen as the victim of an assault,” the sheriff’s department statement said.
They didn't give a motive for the attack, but TMZ reports Schrock ripped Sheen's shirt and tried to strangle him before returning to her house.
The outlet's source says Schrock dumped trash at Sheen's door the day before the attack and said he was the one who called 911.
Paramedics were reportedly called to the scene, but Sheen, 58, did not go to the hospital.

According to authorities, Schrock appeared in court on Friday.
The Post has reached out to representatives for Sheen for comment.
This is reportedly not Sheen's first issue with Schrock. He allegedly told police that he believed she was the same person who put some sticky liquid on that car.

The incident came days after the “Hot Shots!” star told People that he had been sober from alcohol for nearly six years.
“Next month I’ll be six years sober. I have a very consistent lifestyle now. It’s all about the single dad thing and raising my 14-year-old twins, Max and Bob.”
Sheen shares twins with his ex-wife Brooke Mueller, as well as daughters Sami, 19, and Lola, 18, with ex-wife Denise Richards, and his 38-year-old daughter Cassandra with her high school sweetheart Paula Profit.

He also told the outlet that he stopped drinking alcohol after breaking a promise to his daughter.
“One morning I had forgotten that my daughter had an appointment that I had promised to drive her to, and I had already had a few drinks that day,” he explained.
“So I had to call my friend Tony to give us a ride. We got her there on time, but it broke my heart because she was in the backseat and I could tell she was thinking, “Why isn't daddy driving?” So I came home and sat with it the rest of the day. And the next morning I just stopped.”
