Brazil's president pardons prisoners for Christmas

(CNN Spanish) – The President of Brazil, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, pardoned a group of prisoners who met certain conditions, such as those with sentences of less than eight years, who had already served a quarter of their sentence, and those who were resentenced Criminals were required to serve a third of their sentence.
