Actor Ryan O'Neal was laid to rest today next to his longtime lover Farrah Fawcett in Los Angeles, California at Westwood Memorial Park Cemetery.
The 82-year-old Oscar-nominated actor died of heart failure on December 8 in Los Angeles.

The service began at 11 a.m. with a brief ceremony in the cemetery chapel, then O'Neal's sequoia-colored casket was carried to its final resting place next to his longtime partner Fawcett.
The former star Hollywood couple had a turbulent relationship for almost three decades until she died of cancer on June 24, 2009 at the young age of 62.

“This is very difficult for my wife Summer and I, but I will share some feelings to give you an idea of what a great man he is,” he wrote.

Sharon Stone also paid tribute to O'Neal with a black and white photo from his later years.
