The Israeli army reported on Saturday (23) that it had already found more than 30,000 explosives from Hamas terrorists during the military operation in the Gaza Strip.

Saturday began with clouds of smoke on the Palestinian horizon. It was a night of air and ground attacks by Israeli forces.

United Nations SecretaryGeneral Antonio Guterres said on Saturday that the conflict had already killed 136 UN staff in two and a half months.

Guterres said it was something the United Nations had “never seen” in its history.

The UN chief also said today that the Israeli military offensive is making it more difficult to distribute humanitarian aid in the Gaza Strip.

The UN Agency for Palestine Refugees estimates that 85% of the Palestinian territory's population has been displaced from their homes.

There is no shortterm prospect of a ceasefire in the conflict. A video released by Hamas this Saturday shows fighters from the terrorist group attacking Israeli soldiers.

Israeli forces released another video from one of the tunnels used by Hamas in the southern part of Gaza.

Some images were taken with a camera carried by an Israeli army dog.

One of the tunnels shown in the video would be one of Hamas' command and control centers. Israel accuses the terrorist group of building tunnels under civilian areas and endangering the Palestinian population.
