Death of the singer
João Paulo lost his life while returning home in the early hours of September 12, 1997. He had performed in a concert hall in São Caetano on the ABC in the São Paulo metropolitan area.
The vehicle he was driving overturned, entered the center line of the road and caught fire shortly afterwards. João Paulo was burned.
Expert reports pointed to a defect in the car tire, but also determined that Daniel's couple was driving above the speed limit on the motorway.
