Mother Jane Carter confirmed the news to TMZ, saying: “I am shocked by the sudden death of my daughter Bobbie Jean. I will need time to digest this tragedy that has struck me for the third time.
In fact, Bobbie Jean's death occurs just over a year after the death of Aaron Carter, who drowned in his bath after losing consciousness due to the drugs he took, on November 5, 2022.
About 10 years earlier, on January 31, 2012, Leslie Barbara Carter also died after falling in the shower. Authorities later announced that the 25-year-old woman had overdosed on medication, but did not attribute the cause of Leslie's death to that.
The mother of the Carter clan did not reveal the cause of Bobbie Jean's death Saturday and said she would make a full statement when she felt able.
According to People magazine, Bobbie Jean died after suffering cardiac arrest.
“While the loss of a child is a terrible thing for parents, the pain of losing an infant must be even worse. “Please send your prayers to my eight-year-old granddaughter Bella, who has already lost her father and now has no mother,” said Jane Carter, the deceased’s mother.
Of the five children that Jane Carter gave birth to, only Nick (43) and his younger sister Angel (36) are still alive.
