The Liberal also recalled the civilians and soldiers who are behind bars today and who are considered political prisoners by human rights organizations, whom she described as “hostages of the regime for the cause of freedom”.

“My prayers go out to the millions of our people who have had to leave their country (…). To them and their families, I say that the destiny of our struggle is the reunification of every family and the entire nation,” he noted in his message, which ended with the wish for electoral victory in 2024.
