Author and star Laurence Rickard explains: “Sitcoms, especially in this country, don't last long, and so we wanted to do enough to cater to all the stories, especially the ghost stories – people are always curious about how they ended up in the house” – but not to the point that it becomes part of the furniture or falls into the inevitable television orbit where other things happen and there are slightly fewer viewers and slightly less interest.
