Number of Palestinians killed by Israeli attacks in Gaza rises to 20,674

The Gaza Health Ministry reported on Monday that 20,674 Palestinians have been killed and another 54,536 injured since Israeli occupation forces began their aggression against civilians in the Gaza Strip on October 7.

According to the company, Israeli occupation forces have carried out 25 massacres of entire families in the last 24 hours, leaving 250 people dead, including 500 children.

Likewise, the Health Service reported the loss of 311 members of its health staff as well as the impact of 102 ambulances being out of service, 141 health centers were attacked by the Zionist army and 23 hospitals and 53 primary care centers were forcibly evacuated. .

The Ministry of Health reported that sanitary and humanitarian conditions in the shelters were catastrophic. At least 1.8 million people are displaced, at risk of famine and severe cold, as well as the transmission of diseases and epidemics.

He also explained that the child population in detention centers faces numerous risks, including dehydration, starvation, digestive and respiratory diseases, skin diseases and anemia.

He also denounced that 50,000 pregnant women housed in shelter centers lack access to water, food and health care, and that around 180 women give birth every day in dangerous and inhumane conditions.

Among patients with kidney failure, 70 percent face catastrophic health risks due to bombings, displacement and difficulty accessing dialysis services, particularly in northern Gaza.

Ministry spokesman Ashraf al-Qudra also denounced that a large number of people are losing their lives due to medical complications, severe infections and burns.

In this sense, he called on countries and health institutions around the world to provide field hospitals and special medical equipment and to work together in Gaza to save the lives of the wounded.

The official also called on all international institutions to immediately work to urgently build the Al-Shifa medical complex and hospitals in northern Gaza to save the lives of the wounded and sick.
