Latin American soap opera actor Kamar de los Reyes has died: He kept his battle with cancer secret

The entertainment world is in mourning this Christmas after the death of the Latin actor was confirmed Kamar de los Reyesa soap opera star in the USA.

What is known about the death of Kamar de los Reyes?

Media outlets such as TMZ and The Hollywood Reporter announced the news this Monday, December 25, citing the family of the 56-year-old artist.

De los Reyes died on Christmas Eve in Los Angeles after a short battle with cancer,” announced a family spokesperson quoted by said media.

It was not publicly known that the actor suffered from the disease. It is not clear what type of cancer he was diagnosed with.

It was also not reported how long he had suffered from it, “But it seems like it was kept pretty private.”TMZ clarified.

Kamar de los Reyes is known for his role as Antonio Vega in the legendary ABC telenovela “One Life to Live”.

According to TMZ, de los Reyes “appeared in 287 episodes.” He is also known for voicing the villain Raúl Menéndez in the video game series “Call of Duty.”
