Kanye West apologizes to Jewish community with Instagram post in Hebrew – he's 'deeply sorry'

  • West, 46, said in his apology, written in Hebrew, that he was “committed to making amends and promoting unity.”

Kanye West has finally apologized for his various anti-Semitic outbursts, which even saw him express support for Adolf Hitler and resulted in him losing a number of lucrative endorsement deals and being dropped by his talent agency.

West, 46, apologized in Hebrew on his newly reactivated Instagram page in the early hours of Dec. 26.

“I sincerely apologize to the Jewish community for any inadvertent outburst caused by my words or actions.” “It was not my intention to hurt or humiliate, and I deeply regret the pain I have caused,” the apology read in part.

“I am committed to starting with myself and learning from this experience to ensure greater sensitivity and understanding in the future. “Your forgiveness is important to me and I am committed to making amends and promoting unity.”

Many in the comments, written in Hebrew, appeared to accept the apology. However, one commenter warned: “Be careful next time we don't accept forgiveness.”

Kanye West, 46, has finally apologized for his various anti-Semitic outbursts that began in 2022 and continued until a few weeks ago. I sincerely apologize to the Jewish community for any inadvertent outburst caused by my words or actions. “It was not my intention to hurt or humiliate, and I deeply regret the pain I have caused,” the apology read in part

West's recent return to social media has already caused controversy when he announced that he had appointed controversial Russian designer Gosha Rubchinskiy as head of design for the Yeezy brand.

Several men have accused Rubchinskiy of pressuring young men to send him explicit images of themselves. The Moscow-born designer has denied the allegations

Hours before West's apology, Israeli MMA fighter Haim Gozali claimed he was responsible for putting the Golddigger rapper's name on an IDF missile bound for Gaza.

Gozali, who previously served in the Israeli military, posted an image on X on Sunday that showed the words “Kanye West Flying to Gaza Haim Gozali” on what appeared to be a rocket.

Gozali, 50, captioned the post: “@kanyewest you don't like us Jews. So we don't like you either!!!”

It is unclear whether Gozali actually wrote the message himself.

He previously posted a similar photo with the names of Khabib Nurmagomedov, Islam Makhachev, Khamzat Chimaev and Belal Muhammad on an IDF missile.

These four fighters are all Muslims and have expressed their support for Palestine.

This month, West was accused of launching another anti-Semitic tirade during an event in Las Vegas and was also accused of using similar language in his latest track, “Vultures.”

West told a crowd, claiming that “all the rich guys” in the room had their children in “Zionist schools” and that daughter North, 10, had destroyed couches in their house so she could go on tour with him.

In a video obtained by TMZ, West falsely claims, “There are 60 million of us in America, 60 million Jews in the world.”

“50 percent of our deaths are abortions, 25 percent of us go to prison…raise your hand if you've ever had an abortion.”

“If we were in a Jewish home…every mother would raise her hands.”

“But who will build the hospitals? He's a Zionist, Trump. That's what I tried to tell you. Jesus Christ, Hitler, you, third party, sponsor this!'

He added: “You can’t f***ing touch me because God is protecting me.”

Jewish organizations recently slammed Kanye over his new track “Vultures,” which says, “How am I anti-Semitic? I just fucked a Jewish bitch.”

He shouted at the crowd to “shut up” and said: “I don't care about life or death, I'm getting a visit from my kids,” before adding: “F*** Balenciaga.”

West also criticized the school his children attend, saying, “North tore up the damn couches in the house” so he could travel with their father on his trip.

Just days before this wild rant, West was branded a “disgusting human being” by some fans after he wore a KKK-style hood in Miami.

The artist wore a fabric headpiece with a lace on the top at a late-night listening event with collaborator Ty Dolla Sign as they performed their controversial song “Vultures,” which contains vile lyrics about a Jewish woman.

Vultures contains the “offensive” text: “How am I anti-Semitic? I just fucked a Jewish bitch.”

In 2022, West made anti-Semitic comments in interviews and on social media, including a Twitter post in October in which he said he would soon be conducting “Death Con 3 against JEWISH PEOPLE,” an apparent reference to the US known as DEFCON -Defense Readiness Scale.

He previously suggested that slavery was a choice and called the COVID-19 vaccine the “mark of the beast,” among other things.

He was also annoyed that he wore a T-shirt that read “White Lives Matter” to Paris Fashion Week and featured models wearing the same design. In 2020, Ye's then-wife Kim Kardashian said that the rapper suffered from bipolar disorder, a mental illness that causes extreme mood swings.

West expressed his regret in a podcast interview, but several months later tweeted an image of a swastika fused with the Star of David, prompting the platform to suspend him.

After receiving the same treatment on other social media, Ye offered to buy Parler, a conservative social network without gatekeepers. A deal never materialized.

The break with West left Adidas with a huge stockpile of unsold Yeezy sneakers, which are now being sold in limited quantities. There were two such sales – one in May and the other last month.

For both sales, Adidas said it donated a portion of the proceeds to charities such as the Anti-Defamation League and the Philonise & Keeta Floyd Institute for Social Change.
