Christmas is just around the corner and… Kelly Clarkson is here to give everyone a little fashion inspiration ahead of the most wonderful time of the year.
The Kelly Clarkson Show host was on hand to bring holiday cheer to NBC's Christmas at the Opry, where she sang her holiday classic “Underneath the Tree.” While Kelly's upbeat musical performance had everyone excited, her singing skills weren't the only thing people loved. When she took the stage at the legendary country music venue, her outfit had fans cheering too.
For the on-air appearance, The Voice alum chose a black midi dress with an off-the-shoulder neckline. The upper part of the piece was form-fitting, with long sleeves and small rectangular cutouts running down the front of the bodice. As for the rest of the outfit, the dress billowed out at the waist into a tulle skirt that ended just above the ankle. It was a classic look and was perfect for a Christmas event.
To emphasize the overall simplicity of the look, Kelly added a few details that made her dress pop. She wore black strappy heels with jeweled buckles and paired the glittering shoe accents with a diamond choker and stud earrings. She had her signature blonde hair blown out into sleek curls, which she also parted to the side. To bring it all together, she wore smoky eyeshadow, rosy blush, and bright red lipstick to match the color of her nail polish.
When the American Idol winner's look made the rounds online, it didn't take long for people to comment on how much they loved her choice of vacation outfit.
