Authorities said 18 people escaped the fire and two were treated for burns.

The medical director of the nearby Ploiesti County Emergency Hospital, Andrei Ilinca, announced that a 47-year-old woman who suffered burns to 5% of her body, on the face and one hand, is currently in the hospital, while a 16-year-old year-old woman-age teenager was transferred to the “Grigore Alexandrescu” hospital in the capital.

He has burns of 5% of his body surface area, no problems. It is being investigated. “He remains in the plastic surgery ward at the hospital,” said Dr. Raluca Alexandru, spokesperson for the Bucharest Hospital, told Free Europe.

“For the intended purpose, a substantive audit was carried out in 2019, 6 irregularities were identified, one of which was corrected during the inspection, and 6 warnings were issued,” the Emergency Situations Inspectorate said.

“At the time of the inspection, no documents were provided to the inspectors that would substantiate the date of commissioning to determine the need to request and obtain the fire safety permit/approval,” it added.
