Dominic West details his falling out with Prince Harry – and reveals why the royal left him alone after their chaotic trip to Antarctica in 2013.

“The Crown” alum, 54, recalled during Sunday's appearance on Times Radio how he once “said too much in a press conference” after their expedition.

West and the Duke of Sussex, 39, were part of the Walking With the Wounded charity event a decade earlier, where they helped build latrines.

“I think I was asked what we did… [and] “What we did was to celebrate when we got there and probably said a little too much,” West said of Harry ghosting him.

After the trip's “welcome home” conference, the two never spoke to each other again.

At the press event at the time, the actor said: “[Harry] told some incredibly rude jokes, which was quite shocking to a non-soldier like me.”

He also claimed Harry drank champagne from a prosthetic leg that belonged to Duncan Slater, a double amputee who was injured in Afghanistan in 2009.

“Most of us, including Harry, were simply traveling for two days with the Icelandic truck drivers who had brought deadly home brew,” he mused.

According to a Chron source, Harry is said to have criticized West's candid quotes “as – – not appropriate”. “He accused Dominic of invading his privacy” and “Dominic told him not to be ridiculous,” the insider said.

West and Harry had a much better relationship before the Wire actor was cut.

“Harry was a real team player. There was always something to do and he was always instigating it. There were so many wind-ups. He's probably spread himself pretty thin. He spent time with every team every day,” West said at the expedition’s press conference.

“He always made sure he mixed things up and put everyone at the forefront. It was very nice because he was just as tired as everyone else.”

The British actor further noted that the Invictus Games founder “helped me tremendously when I initially had problems with my skis” and that he was “a great guy.”

Meanwhile, Harry was straightforward about the trip at the press conference.

“Inspiring others is one of the cornerstones of this charity,” Harry said at the time. “This truly incredible achievement from everyone behind me… will remind everyone that they can achieve anything they want.”

West recently starred in the fifth and sixth seasons of the Netflix royal drama The Crown, in which he played Harry's estranged father, King Charles III.

“The Affair” actor admitted to Variety on Dec. 16 that he picked up a copy of Harry’s memoir “Spare” to prepare for filming the final season.

“I bought it straight away and I think it slightly influenced the way we played the key scene where he wakes Harry up,” West admitted. “I’ve read every newspaper article and every journalistic article about him since I got the job.”

“In a way it was a gift that he was in the headlines every day when he became king – like he was annoyed by the fountain pen,” he added. “In this guy’s cold, formal persona, I was trying to get these little tells.”
