Police officers in Victoria, British Columbia, had a anything but easy Christmas Eve, Police Chief Del Manak said.
One police officer in particular had a particularly disgusting evening. When asked to intervene to remove an unruly passenger on a public transport bus, the poor officer had a container full of vomit thrown at him.

Another patrolman was attacked and had to use a Taser to subdue four men who refused to leave a store.
Elsewhere in British Columbia's capital, a woman was handcuffed after attempting to slash the tires of about twenty cars.
However, it wasn't all gloom for Victoria Police, with one officer faring far better than his colleagues. “An officer returned to his patrol car parked downtown after responding to a call and discovered that a kind citizen had left a Tim Hortons gift card in his car,” said Chief Manak.
