MIAMI.- Singer Eva Luna Montaner was embroiled in controversy after revealing that she did not follow a medical examination during the pregnancy of her daughter Índigo. The Venezuelan artist and wife of Colombian singer Camilo made this confession on the Think Well, We Thought Bad podcast.
“I didn’t have a gynecologist. Nobody gave me ultrasounds, sonograms or anything like that. (…) The entire pregnancy was a pure act of faith; “Everything happened with a midwife who listened to her heart with a stethoscope, but I never saw how it went and I didn't even know if it was going to be a boy or a girl,” said the daughter of the singer Ricardo Montaner.
There were no surprises about the baby's gender, as both she and Camilo stated that they wanted to meet him at birth, which is why they chose a unisex name.

However, the actress also pointed out that her fear was never about not undergoing a medical examination as usual, but rather about realizing that her life was about to change, taking on a new responsibility and giving her daughter a good education and education would enable.
“There are constant fears, mine being the biggest: 'I'm going to be a mother, how am I going to raise her from scratch?' “I was obviously scared,” she commented.
