Donald Trump is here again in December 2023 as a candidate for the White House in the 2024 presidential election.

UNITED STATES – Small victory for Donald Trump. A few days after being excluded from the Republican primary in Colorado, the former American president was declared eligible to take part in the primary in Michigan this Wednesday, December 27th.

“The court's decision is disappointing, but we will continue to seek to enforce this essential constitutional provision protecting our republic at a later date,” attorney Mark Brewer said in a news release from Free Speech For People, the organization filing the filing the complaint.

All eyes are now on the United States Supreme Court, which may decide the matter, and the ex-president intends to appeal.

The 14th Amendment, passed in 1868 and aimed at supporters of the defeated Southern Confederacy in the Civil War (1861-1865), supposedly excludes anyone from any public responsibility after allegedly taking an oath to defend the Constitution in acts of ” Rebellion” involved.
