Likewise, he noted that he did not like going to the stadium, even though he loved the sport and could get addicted to watching it for several hours. “I don't go to the stadium because there are no replays of the games. Football is very beautiful and I love it very much, especially Peruvian football,” he added.

The singer recalled that until he was eight years old, he watched the Peruvian team at the World Cup. So it was certainly hard to miss seeing his country in football's biggest celebration. “I spent my childhood in a Peru that won the World Cup and later wasn't one anymore. “That’s how I got used to Peruvian football at World Cup level,” he said.
