Junqueira was arrested by agents from the Pacifying Police Unit (UPP) Chácara do Céu/Vidigal after his exwife filed a complaint of assault. According to the publication, the actor was located and taken to the police station along with his exwife.
The case was registered at the 15th police station of Gávea and transferred to the 12th police station of Copacabana, where it is being investigated. The actor was eventually arrested redhanded.
