Willie Colón is one of the most prominent salsa singers, the composer is considered one of the pioneers of the genre alongside Héctor Lavoe; his hits include “Gitana”, “Mi Sueño” and “El gran varón”.
The artist was one of the guests at the Cali Fair “super concert,” but after the artist left the stage, there was unease in the audience.
According to visitors, the 73-year-old salsa singer was not on stage for 20 minutes and his audience of around 25,000 people was unsettled by the sudden cancellation of the show.

About the incident, the artist's manager, Pietro Carlos Correa, spoke to “Blu Radio” and explained that Willie Colón had a health mishap.
: “In the middle of the concert, he suffered from malaise due to the excessive heat in the stadium, but he woke up in good health and returned to his country this Thursday (yesterday),” he said.
The concert also featured other artists such as Gilberto Santa Rosa, Óscar D'León, El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico and Víctor Manuelle, who ignited a spark in the audience.
