Spider-Man – About the Spider-Verse
It's rare that the second part of a trilogy is superior to the first. The Empire Strikes Back, Terminator 2, The Winter Soldier. Maybe The Godfather Part II. We can add Across the Spider-Verse to that list.

Philou by Phil Roy

The Crave platform presents a recording of the Phil Roy Show
The gags flow through Philou at a rapid pace, except for very brief interludes where the comedian gives the audience time to fully appreciate what he just said. The irony will be lost on no one: his first show was called Monsieur, but it wasn't until his second solo that Phil Roy truly became one.

Talk to me
The rumor spread by Sundance was true. “Talk to Me” by twins Danny and Michael Philippou is one of the most disturbing works of the year and plunges into the heart of horror. It's hard not to be followed.

The time of a summer
Yes, it's a slow film. Pensive. And that's perfect. “The Time of a Summer” is not a talk film either. Dialogues are never free. And silence often speaks volumes. The film is at times reminiscent of “The Great Seduction” (Jean-François Pouliot) through its excursion into the region and of Nomadland (Chloé Zhao) through its intimate portrait of the lives of the less fortunate. And even if the finale is as improbable as the introduction, we are still caught up in the belief. And to dream about it… the time of a visit.

A respectable woman
The direction of the actors is very precise. As Rose, Hélène Florent appears to wear a veil of sadness on her face throughout the story, except for brief moments of joy with the little girls. The actress is remarkable. His partner, Martin Dubreuil, is also truthful and touching in the role of the dark and clumsy husband, but, as they say, has a good background.

My feelings by Virginie Fortin

The Crave platform offers a recording of Virginie Fortin's show.
Virginie Fortin would like to talk to us about her existential thoughts, her intimate questions about our presence on earth. It's her own brand of humor and with her second show in her career, she surprises us again with her way of making funny those ideas that we all have and that can be disturbing.

The Three Musketeers: D'Artagnan
The pace of the two-hour feature film is excellent. The fights are well choreographed and the chases are exciting. The plot is interspersed with dialogue that skillfully presents the themes without over-explaining them. The Musketeers' camaraderie makes you smile, and the budding love between D'Artagnan and Constance Bonacieux (Lyna Khoudri) is particularly delicious.

Top and Binoo: the film
Even though it's been almost 20 years since his first television appearance in 2005, Toupie remains the same. On the big screen, the character created by Dominique Jolin straight from children's books is still just as open-hearted, creative and… silly. So much better!
Veronique Larocque
breath in, breath out
As we watch each of the 30-minute episodes of “Inspire Exhale,” we won’t get bored for a second. The plot moves along quickly, the jokes follow one another at a brisk pace and our detective brains are busy unmasking the murderer. As in One Way, but in a fake version.
