Available in 16 colors, it sold so quickly that the star's team struggled to source it quickly enough to meet demand.

Sources close to Victoria say her popularity is due to posts on TikTok and Instagram showing potential buyers how to use her.

Such has been her success that she opened her third store in Paris at the Galeries Lafayette department store earlier this month – something of a dream for the star, who shows her collections at the city's annual Fashion Week alongside the industry's most successful designers .

A friend of Victoria's says she is “so happy” to have turned around the business she started in 2008 with a small clothing line.

She is particularly happy because she will soon be 50 in April next year. The friend told the Mail: “It feels like two special milestones have come together. “Victoria is just so happy.”

Despite its famous founder, the brand struggled to make money.

Auditors have warned that without further financial support from shareholders, which include the Beckhams and private equity firm Neo Investment Partners, the company risks going bust.

However, last year's results marked “a turning point where the group became profitable”.

Sales rose 44 percent to £58.8 million in 2022, compared to £40.9 million the previous year.

The company said sales continued to grow double-digit in 2023, with “unprecedented” demand for beauty products and the new fragrance collection.

In an interview with Vogue France in October, Victoria revealed that the brand had made a profit, saying: “This is just the beginning, I have a lot of ambitions and I'm working hard to achieve my goals.”

She added: “Now that I have laid the foundation of the house, the real work can begin.”

However, another measure of profits showed the company had lost around £3m during the year, although that was less than its loss of almost £6m in 2021.

In 2020, The Mail on Sunday revealed that Ms Beckham should use the government's furlough scheme to pay her staff during the pandemic – despite her and her husband David's estimated wealth of £360 million.

However, after much criticism, it made a U-turn, meaning British taxpayers were spared from funding its staff's salaries.
