Shocking revelations from actor Giampaolo Morelli, who said in a long interview with the newspaper Il Messaggero that he had discovered the identity of his real father after 49 years. In the interview we read that Francesco Morelli, a 90-year-old former Neapolitan judge, is not her biological father, but in reality a lawyer from the Naples bar who died in 2013. “A few days before she died, my mother gave me a letter. “It said that my real father was a different man,” he then said: “He is a family friend who died in 2013, he knew we were identical.”
The legal process
And so, on December 20, the Neapolitan actor initiated court proceedings to establish paternity, asking the judge to order a DNA test on the relatives of his alleged biological father. Morelli says he learned the whole truth from his family a year ago, in January 2023. “He would have had many opportunities to manifest himself, but he never did. But now I understand why he was present in some moments of my life and that hurts me even more,” he said of his supposedly real father, whom he revealed that he was very similar to him, “same eyes, same facial features.” Finally, he reveals the reason why he got involved in this legal process, because he felt “deprived of his father out of pure selfishness”.
