“Elijah Moore spent the night in the hospital and has now returned home. He is in the concussion protocol, the pilot said. We will look into this in the next few days. I'm glad to know he's back home.

In the second quarter, the Browns wide receiver fell heavily to the ground after making contact with an opponent and suffered the impact on his head.

Moore then made a few movements with his arms that seemed involuntary. The trainers rushed to him to intervene.

The MEDspiration account posted a video on YouTube in which Dr. Nav Badesha explains what caused Moore's cramps.

“The injury occurred when the front of Moore's helmet sank into the ground,” the doctor explained. Shock causes physical damage to brain tissue and results in stretching and tearing of neuronal structures.”

“This triggers uncontrollable depolarization, or release and release of excitatory neurotransmitters throughout the brain. This surge of electricity causes what we saw in Moore’s arms.”

The 23-year-old athlete will stay away from the football fields for an indefinite period of time. In 2023, he will play his first season with the Browns after playing two seasons with the Jets. Moore caught 59 of 104 passes for 640 yards and two touchdowns in 16 games.

There is still one game left in the Browns' regular season. However, the Ohio club secured its place in the playoffs with its win on Thursday.
