WWE presented a live event in Laval, Quebec on December 28, 2023 (view results here) and Cody Rhodes was there.
Cody Rhodes faced Damian Priest in a last man standing match just before the main event and this morning we learned that Cody fell ill just seconds before his match. In fact, Cody explained on Twitter that he vomited half of his body 30 seconds before the theme song and still decided to take the match:
“Fun/too intense fact: I threw up what felt like half my body weight 30 seconds before my music came on.
“Thank you Montreal for giving me the energy to fight!”

WWE currently hosts a live event in a different city every night. Since December 26, Cody Rhodes has apparently contracted the virus in Quebec or elsewhere.
A pre-show fun fact that makes you realize how much WWE Superstars are willing to do many things to entertain us (and if you were ringside at the Laval show, don't forget to clasp your hands wash …).
