After an excellent start and praise, it's time for criticism of LEGO Fortnite. A feature that really bothers players: they leave the game entirely!
LEGO Fortnite was released in early December alongside two other games added to Fortnite: Fortnite Festival and Rocket Racing. So far, the building game has been by far the most popular of these three new products. It must be said that the software contains very popular gameplay elements like Minecraft-style construction and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom-style mechanics. However, unlike these two examples mentioned, LEGO Fortnite encounters certain limitations that greatly frustrate players.
Be creative… but not too much
One of the strengths of Danish bricks is the ability to build without limits and be guided by our imagination. However, it appears that this is not the case with LEGO Fortnite. In fact, many players realized that the structures built in the game couldn't be as big as they wanted.. Probably to avoid overloading the servers, the designs are limited to a certain size. This discourages even the most brilliant idea, as Pronkie_dork explains on Reddit:
The build limit is very discouraging. Every time I think about building a large structure, I'm disappointed because I probably won't be able to do it.
Other users even say they gave up on the game entirely because they were no longer interested in playing it despite the restrictions. In addition, many phases of the software encourage the player to create, it seems counterproductive to restrict him in this sense.
All is not lost!
However, the matter is not lost as Epic Games seems to be listening very carefully to its players and has even already made changes following certain feedback. For example, the number of items per stack as well as the durability of certain tools have recently been increased. Therefore, although this may encounter technical constraints, it does not seem impossible that the limits could be revised upwards. If players continue to drop out, the publisher will definitely have to respond in one way or another.
