According to the sources, the attacked targets are in the southern area of the city of Albukamal, in the east of Deir Ezzor province, about 500 kilometers northeast of Damascus and close to the border with Iraq.
The published images show violent explosions and fires in certain locations, without it being possible to confirm whether there are any personnel or material losses.
On November 9th and 12th, two bombings at the Pentagon killed several Syrian soldiers and armed members of Damascus' allied militias and destroyed Syrian soldiers' warehouses and positions that were also used by militiamen loyal to Damascus.
Meanwhile, on October 30, a similar attack targeted a truck convoy from Iraq in the same Deir Ezzor governorate.
Likewise, on October 26, a Pentagon strike was carried out against two points of the Syrian army and its allies in the city of Al-Mayadeen.
Washington maintains fifteen bases on Syrian territory without the consent of the Damascus government or the United Nations.
Syria repeatedly condemned this presence, which it described as an occupation, and asserted that the actions of the US military on its territory promote terrorist activities and aim to destabilize the country and plunder its wealth.
Attacks on these bases have increased significantly since Israel's aggression against the Gaza Strip began and now number over 100. At least fifty US soldiers have been injured.
