David Beckham brushed up on his chicken-keeping skills after his wife Victoria gave him his own flock for Christmas.
Posh, 49, shared a photo of David, 48, reading “Keeping Chickens for Dummies” on Instagram on Friday.
She wrote: “Just a little Friday night reading for @DavidBeckham.”
The book is a much-needed gift for David as it provides an introduction to keeping chickens, feeding them properly and expert advice from the River Cottage 'Chicken Whisperer'.
Victoria set up a stable and chicken coop for David on her Cotswolds farm, to complement his own beehives on the sprawling property.

Off camera, Victoria showed off the chicken coop in the garden of her Cotswolds home and asked: “What did you get for Christmas, David?”
“A few chickens and a rooster,” the footballer replied, while his wife continued: “Beckham’s chickens.”
Victoria joked: “There's a really huge cock in there too,” before branding her new feathered friends “camera shy.”
The couple got into the festive spirit the day before when they posed with Santa Claus after he paid a visit to their sprawling country estate.
Fashion designer Victoria showed off her chic yet casual sense of style in an all-black outfit as she sat next to Santa and rang his golden bell for an Instagram snap.
She could be seen wearing a red and white dress that matched Santa's, and David did the same in a separate photo while at her Chipping Norton pile.
Her sons Romeo (21) and Cruz (18) and her daughter Harper (12) also had their photos taken with Santa Claus.
