Two US bases in Syria are bombed with missiles

The US forces illegally stationed at the Kharab al-Jir base in the northeastern province of Hasakeh were the target of several missiles, said a statement from the above-mentioned organization, which was accompanied by a video showing the firing of projectiles.

The resistance also claimed responsibility for a similar rocket attack on Pentagon soldiers in the community of Al-Shaddadi, south of the city of Hasakeh.

These actions were carried out as part of the resistance approach against US occupation forces in Syria, Iraq and the region, as well as in response to the massacres carried out by Israel against the Palestinian people in Gaza, his statement said.

In the early hours of this Saturday, several positions of the Syrian armed forces and their allies were bombed by US warplanes on the southern outskirts of the city of Albukamal in the east of Deir Ezzor province, about 500 kilometers northeast of Damascus and near the border with Iraq.

Washington maintains about 15 bases on Syrian territory without the consent of the Damascus government or the United Nations.

Syria repeatedly condemned this presence, which it described as an occupation, and asserted that the actions of the US military on its territory promote terrorist activities and aim to destabilize the country and plunder its wealth.

Attacks on these bases have increased significantly since Israel's aggression against the Gaza Strip began, now exceeding 100, with at least fifty U.S. soldiers injured.
