English actor Tom Wilkinson, known for his work in “All or nothing” (1997) and nominated for an Oscar for Best Actor “Between four walls” (2001) and best supporting actor for “Risk behavior” (2007), died this Saturday (30) at the age of 75.

As of the last update to this report, the cause was not disclosed.

“It is with great sadness that the family of Tom Wilkinson announces that he died suddenly at home on December 30,” said a statement released by the artist’s agent and reproduced on the website Deadline. “His wife and family were with him. The family requests privacy at this time.”

Wilkinson was born on February 5, 1948 in Leeds, England and began his career working in British television in the 1970s.

He is survived by his wife, actress Diana Hardcastle, and two daughters, Alice and Mollie.
