Two reckless people who ventured into an alligator-filled swamp in Florida just before Christmas were finally rescued after becoming disoriented.

The rescue took place in Hillsborough County in the central US state.
The video of the operation, made possible thanks to aviation, was published by local authorities

Spotted with a flashlight, the two men were taken back to the entrance to Cypress Creek Natural Area.
They spent “hours” in the alligator-filled swamp.
According to Hillsborough County police, the two men were not injured.
