Raptors OG Anunoby most attractive player on the market

Huge trade from the Raptors

The Toronto Raptors completed a high-profile trade on Saturday, sending OG Anunoby, Malachi Flynn and Precious Achiuwa to the New York Knicks for RJ Barrett and Immanuel Quickley.

The Canadian team would also receive the Knicks' second-round pick in 2024.

Incredible but true: The transaction comes at a time when the Raptors are being sued by the Knicks for alleged theft of professional secrets.

Anunoby would become a free agent this summer. The guard was selected in the first round by the Raptors in 2017 (23rd overall) and won the championship with the Toronto team in 2019. He is known for his defensive efficiency.

Raptors get local star; Barrett was born and raised in Toronto. The guard averaged 18.2 points, 4.3 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game this season. Barrett was the third pick in the 2019 draft.

Quickley is an element that should not be overlooked in this transaction as he has earned a reputation as an excellent sixth man. However, judging by his reaction to X, he is shaken to leave the Big Apple.
