When The Masked Singer returned to television screens on Saturday night, Dionne Warwick was the first character to be unmasked.
The legendary singer's identity was revealed within seconds of her taking the stage, as both the judges and fans at home recognized her distinctive voice.
During the episode, 83-year-old Dionne battled Rat, while Big Foot and Dippy Egg faced off and Cricket faced off against Maypole.
After their performances, Maypole, Dippy Egg and Weather ended up in the final three, with the judges choosing to save Maypole and then Dippy Egg.
When Weather was sent home, even though the judges all suspected Dionne was behind the mask, they were still shocked to see her standing on stage.

Speaking about her participation in the show, she said: “It was an absolute joy. When I was invited to the show I thought, 'Yeah, let's have some fun, but I can never try to hide my voice!'”
Johnathan Ross added: “It’s so distinctive.”
Fans at home shared their thoughts on X/Twitter, posting: “Called it Dionne Warwick within seconds!! I love her.”
Another added: “I knew straight away Weather was Dionne Warwick!”
“Weather sounds exactly like Dionne Warwick and if so I'm going to freak out,” wrote a third.
Someone else shared: “Dionne Warwick was into the masked singer as soon as she started singing lol. 'That voice is one in a billion.'
Dionne then added: “When I got the call and was asked if I would do it here in the UK, I jumped at the opportunity.” I said: “Yeah, let's have a bit of fun.”
When asked how difficult it was for her to keep a secret, she continued: “That's the hardest thing of all because I'm a talker, I love to talk and I couldn't talk to anyone.”

Speaking about her participation in the show, she said: “It was an absolute joy. When I was invited to the show I thought, 'Yeah, let's have some fun, but I can never try to hide my voice!'”
“But I had no choice. I had to follow the rules, so I didn’t say a word to anyone, and that was the hardest thing in the world for me.”
Regarding her costume, she said: “Well, it's not unusual for me to wear something that would be considered a costume, so I immediately felt at home.” Isn't that a beautiful costume? I had a lot of fun.
“You know the weather is very unpredictable. I'm completely predictable. You always know what Dionne is about and what she's up to. Always!'
Next Saturday, remaining characters Air Fryer, Bubble Tea, Owl, Eiffel Tower, Chicken Caesar and Piranha will take the stage to sing in costume and dazzle the panel and audience alike.
