The 35-year-old striker won this nomination with 67%, receiving 167 votes, beating former Gremio de Porto Alegre goalscorer Luis Suárez (40), Nicolás de la Cruz (8) and Lionel Messi, for whom he only received four votes his participation at Inter Miami.
One of the names that also appears in this survey is that of our compatriot Paolo Guerrero, who was the leading figure for LDU Quito in winning both the Ecuadorian Serie A and the Copa Sudamericana. Other well-known footballers such as Endrick, Marcelo, Kendry Páez, Paulinho and Piero Quispe are also on this list.
