Kamikaze drones hit US enclaves in Syria

One drone targeted American uniformed personnel in the Kherab Jir area of Hasakeh province, while two other aircraft targeted American positions in the Al-Remelan oil fields in the same governorate.

A similar operation also reached the Al-Omar oil field facilities in Deir Ezzor province, which were converted into a base for Pentagon troops.

According to activists, the attacks caused casualties of military personnel and damage to property.

The day before, volleys of rockets were fired against Pentagon troops in the Konico and Al-Omar oil fields in the same Deir Ezzor governorate.

Such actions against North American troops, of which there are more than 100, are claimed by militia members of the self-proclaimed Islamic Resistance in Iraq, an ally of Damascus in the fight against terrorism and the occupation.

The above-mentioned entity assures in its statements that its attacks are carried out as part of the resistance approach against the US occupation forces in Syria, Iraq and the region, as well as in response to the massacres committed by Israel against the Palestinian population in Gaza. .

Washington maintains about 15 bases on Syrian territory without the consent of the Damascus government or the United Nations.

Syria repeatedly condemned this presence, which it described as an occupation, and asserted that the actions of the US military on its territory promote terrorist activities and aim to destabilize the country and plunder its wealth.
